Director of Health, Fitness, Aquatics Operations (HFA) and Member Experience (Regina)

Reporting to the General Manager of HFA, the Director of HFA Operations & Member Experience will provide leadership across membership, aquatics, fitness, & youth programs to ensure a seamless, high-quality member experience & will focus on aligning departments, driving membership growth & retention strategies, & supporting Managers to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership & coordination across aquatics, fitness, youth programs, & membership services
- Ensure alignment of programs & services to create a seamless member experience
- Lead the development & execution of branch-wide membership growth & retention strategies
- Set & monitor membership targets in collaboration with the General Manager
- Design & oversee a comprehensive member journey from onboarding through long-term engagement
- Monitor member feedback & satisfaction trends & implement improvements
- Provide coaching, mentorship, & performance management
- Establish & monitor KPIs across departments including membership growth & retention, program participation, member satisfaction & revenue performance
- Lead community engagement initiatives that support membership growth
- Develop & maintain key partnerships with businesses, schools, & community organizations
- Ensure all departments operate in compliance with YMCA policies & safety standards
- Provide leadership support in incident response & resolution as needed
Job Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in recreation, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Experience leading multiple departments or leaders preferred
- Strong understanding of membership growth, retention, & service delivery
- Experience with systems such as ActiveNet is an asset
- Excellent leadership, communication, & relationship-building abilities
- Commitment to YMCA values & mission
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-Level C
- Clear criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Search

Personal Trainer (Regina)

The YMCA is looking to add a new Part-Time Personal Trainer to our team. If you are a dynamic individual with a passion for health & fitness, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and design training plans for personal and group training clients
- Set up and run a weekly group fitness class that showcases your specialty in training (ie. TRX, Kettlebell, yoga)
- Lead YThrive fitness assessments and training sessions
- Assist as directed with cleaning and maintenance tasks related to fitness area
- Conduct facility tours and fitness assessments with new members and training clients
- Offer the highest levels of customer service to meet member needs
- Promote fitness and personal/group training to grow the YMCA fitness brand
- Have daytime & weekend availability to accommodate clients
- Provide excellent motivation and communicate effectively to support clients and other staff
Job Requirements:
- Must have current Personal Trainer certification (CSCS, CSEP-CPT, Can Fit Pro, YMCA or equivalent)
- Kinesiology Degree an asset (completed or in progress 2+ years);
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C;
- A Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, ability to fully own personal schedule; A drive to meet all member and business needs
