The YMCA is for everyone. As one of Canada’s oldest and most diverse charities, our goal is to ensure everyone can participate in our awesome YMCA Day Camps, regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why as a charity, we offer financial assistance to those who may not be able to access our programs and services otherwise.

How it works:

  • By accessing Day Camp Financial Assistance, your child will be able to participate at a reduced rate.
  • Families can apply for one or multiple weeks.
  • Families are approved for either 30%, 50%, 70% or 100% financial assistance.
  • Families briefly meet with YMCA Administrators to review the necessary proof of financial need documentation and discuss their approved financial assistance level.
  • Applications will be approved if the criteria are met, registration spaces are open, and funding is available.

Proof of financial need:

  • Families submit a Notice of Assessment (NOA) for the previous year showing the net income for each individual 18 years and older in your household.
    • One NOA is required for each adult, even if the total net income is zero.
