The Community Engagement Committee (CEC) will strengthen the YMCA’s presence and impact in the community by fostering meaningful connections, planning inclusive events, and recognizing important days of observance that align with our mission, vision, and values.

At the YMCA, we are committed to creating communities where everyone can shine. We are committed to creating spaces where people can show up in their full range of diversity, including race, gender, religion, language, sexual diversity, and neurodiversity, and that our spaces are accessible to all. As leaders/instructors in this space, we aspire to counter all forms of discrimination and oppression intentionally.
