We have prepared an FAQ list to answer some questions that you may have:

• Where are the day camps located in the school?

The day camps will be located directly in our current designated YMCA of Regina Before & After School Program room.

• What is the cost for each camp?
  • Single-Day Camps cost $57.75 (per day)| YMCA Members and B&A registrants.
  • Single-Day Camps cost $68.25 (per day)| Non-Members
  • Week-long Day Camps & School’s Out Summer Day Camps cost $234.00 (per week) | YMCA Members and B&A registrants.
  • Week-long Day Camps & School’s Out Summer Day Campscost $262.50 (per week) | Non-Members

• What are the hours of the camps?
  • Single-Day Camps run from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Week-long Day Camps and School’s Out Summer Day Camps run from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Extended care from 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM is available for an additional fee: $34.00 (per week) | YMCA Members OR $39.00 (per week) | Non-Members

• Does this fee include snacks and lunch?

Children are required to bring their own (NUT FREE) bagged lunch & snacks.

• What does the programming look like?

Programming will be similar to those offered at past Schools Out Day Camps at the Northwest YMCA. Children will be kept engaged and active, as the day is scheduled in advance with various activities. Where possible, this will include field trips and special presenters.

Summer programming will be planned in April 2024, and each week will have a theme. Program details will be shared on-site after we finalize the weekly themes, special activities, and/or field trips.

• Who are the camp staff?

Camp staff will be the same staff who work in our YMCA of Regina Before & After School Programs.

• Where are the day camps located?

Camps are located at École Massey at 131 Massey Road and George Lee Elementary at 180 Wells St. Each location has a site-cell phone.

Parents/Guardians can call the designated number upon drop-off and pick-up, and staff will be happy to direct you to the room where you will need to sign in your child at drop-off and sign out at pick-up

• How do I register my child for camp?

Registration for Single-Day camps & Week-long Day camps can be done anytime prior to the deadline that is indicated in the chart below corresponding with your camp of choice.

Pre-registration ensures we meet the minimum number of registrations required. If the minimum required registrations are not met, camp may be canceled. Your child must be enrolled as a student in order to enroll in a YMCA camp at that location. (eg. Must be a student at École Massey in order to register for a camp at École Massey)

Registration for Summer Day Camps opens for Members and Before & After School registrants on March 25, 2024, and April 1, 2024 for Non-Members.
